With over 5.400 contributing members they are on track to provide prostheses
to 6.00 people over the next two years.
I was surprised to know that it’s for adults as well as children.

ReplyDeleteDid you enjoy learning about prosthetics? I had no idea how far prosthetics had been developed with newer technology.. I remember when I broke my wrist and I struggled to do things for a few weeks, so I can’t imagine how hard it would be having no hand at all! I know prosthetics make life a lot easier for both kids and adults who are missing a hand and it means that can do more for themselves instead of relying on other people.

Yes I'm enjoying the summer learning journey, I didn't know much about prosthetics. I just couldn't imagine how hard was it for these people not be able to a simple task like hold a cup of water to drink.
