National Treasure

  1. Hello Helena,
I am Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. I come from the Ako Hiko cluster. I really like this blog post! Let me elaborate on why I like it. Firstly, you added pictures of your things. Secondly, you put people down instead of items. I looked at the teddy you had and it kinda made me sad. The reason being I used to have a stuffed elephant. I think I had him for like 3 years. Then he started to break and tear apart. Sadly, I had to throw him away :(. Anyways, I still have some of my old stuffed animals. Maybe next time you could add a bit more information about the base of the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

  3. Kia ora Helena,

Thank you for sharing three things you treasure. They sound very special to you :)

Thank you for sharing photos of your bear and your dog. They are both so cute!! I also like that you said that you treasure your family. That is really nice to hear.

I use to have a dog like that, I got him for the 7th birthday and I still have him at my parents house to this day. I know how important sentimental items can be!

We are really looking forward to reading more of your work over the summer. Looking forward to what which activity you will do next. Remember if you want to get some extra points then you need to leave a positive comment on another students blog to get 2 extra points.

  4. I learned how to look after my stuff as my mum still have her baby dress and daddy has his baby pictures. I learned from them what it means to look after the things that means a lot and you can't replace it.

  5. Which is your favourite favourite Helena? I still have some of my toys when I was your age (and younger) too. Keep blogging and posting until 24th January.

  6. Hello Helena,

It's Melita here again. Wow Helena those are some good things you treasure. Good job for putting the image of the things you treasure. I think you are doing an amazing job in the SLJ program this year. But maybe next time if you adding a little more information on what make these things so special to you that would be good. Anyways you did a great job on this activity.

    Have a good day
    Melita

  7. Thank you Melita, as I said in my blog post why each of the toys is important to. The little teddy was my first gift when I was born and the dog was my 1st birthday gift from my uncle.
