Hi Lauren, thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog post. I thought it'll be much more fun trying to guess the sound if the camera is blocked. The sprinkle was actually mum's idea, I guess she knows best.
It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I really enjoyed seeing your engagement with SLJ. I really enjoyed the sounds that you found, it was awesome as it shows that you had to use your creativity and initiative when thinking about what objects can make certain sounds. I appreciate the time and great effort that you put into your work. You should be very proud of your mahi!!!
Do you enjoy playing instruments? I used to play the drums when I was younger and I really enjoyed listening to the beats and rhythms.
Thank you for your prompt reply. That is cool that you have a few toy instruments. Would you like to play an instrument one day and which instrument would you like to play?
Kia ora Helena,
ReplyDeleteGreat work with the found sounds activity! Your sounds tricked me, they really sounded like real instruments!
Very creative having the screen black, so that I could listen to the sounds and guess what item was being used.
I like how resourceful you were with your items, the sprinkles shaker was an awesome found instrument I haven't seen before!
I’m glad you enjoyed this activity. I can't wait to see your next blog posts and creative ideas.
Ngā mihi,
Lauren

ReplyDeleteKia ora anō Helena,
DeleteBlocking the camera was a good idea, it added some mystery to your sounds! Ah Mums always know best, don't they?
Do you play any musical instruments? (apart from your fantastic found sounds of course!)
Ngā mihi,
Lauren
I guess you're right about mum knows best, I don't play any musical instruments but I have a couple of toy instruments that I enjoy.
