It is me Quein again, a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It is fantastic to see that you have given some thought to your future. I really like that you plan on going to study, maybe at a university? because getting a university diploma or a degree really increases the chances of you earning more money to support your family and one day buy a house. I studied for seven years at the university. It was also a lot of fun and you can get the chance to meet amazing people and friends. I really enjoyed seeing that you have a good and kind heart as family is very important to you and is at the center of everything.

It is Awesome that you want to travel the world, where would you like to go first and why? I visited Scotland and France once. It was incredible to meet new people and try out new food.

Keep up the Super work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!

    Ngā mihi,
    Quein

  2. Kia ora Helena,

My name is Fiona and I am a Manaiakalani facilitator. It is great to see that you are getting involved in the summer learning journey.

I think you have done a fabulous job of the when I am 17 timeline. It’s great to see that you have been thinking about the future and setting goals for yourself. I like the way you have included details about how you will be feeling at each stage of your life. I see that you have mentioned that you would like to watch a lot of Harry Potter in your later years. Are you a Harry Potter fan? Do you prefer the books or the movies? I always prefer the books myself :)

Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing more great quality posts from you during the summer learning journey.

    Ngā mihi,
    Fiona Waugh
