All about a Taniwha
All about a Taniwha
Taniwha are supernatural creatures in
Maori tradition, similar to serpents and
dragons in other cultures. They were said
to hide in the ocean, rivers, lakes or caves.
Some Taniwha would eat and kill people, or
kidnap women
Taniwha were either male or female. They
usually lived in or near the water lakes,
rivers or the sea. They hid in lairs known
as ruaTaniwha which could be deep pools,
caves, or dangerous waterways areas that
people avoided.

The best trip to the Museum
The best trip to the Museum
On Monday November 4th there was a trip to the
Museum. First room 10 did the roll to check that
everyone is here then everyone went to the courts.
After that we went on the bus it was quiet until it
started getting noisier and noisier.
We reached there “yay I said” when I saw the
entrance. There was a door that spins on its own
self. When I went inside I saw lots of dead birds
around that were hooked up the roof. We went
inside and looked around and we saw stairs so we
went up a couple of stairs and then we went
inside a room and we saw a game so I quickly
rushed to a side before anyone comes i was a
yellow boat i had to collect a banana, pear and a
fish it was fun after that we went to look at some
animals then we had to head to learn about music
and dance then we had lunch. Once we had
finished eating we went on the bus and the bus
took us to school.
It was amazing.
